If OSU v. USC is a close game will the loser stay in the top 10?

If the game does live up to the hype

lets hope it does

shouldn't the loser stay in the top 10

or at least the top 15

If the game is close (3 pts. or less), my prediction is that USC would drop to 5, or OSU would drop to 8.

If OSU loses a close contests, lets say 3 points then they stay in the top 10. If they win they are #1.

If USC loses a close game by the same 3 points they stay in the top 10.

A blow out puts the loser out of the top 10.

If it's a close game, both teams will be in the top ten. OSU might fall as low as 12, but no lower. This isn't the first time OSU has played in a game like this in recent history. Against Texas, they lost in the last minute, at home, and still sayed around 11. I believe they started the game lower, like 6. Obviously a lot of it has to do with how the other teams do. OSU dropped 3 spots in a close win against a lesser team. No reason to think the voters wouldn't punish other teams for the same thing.

    Of course.

The loser should stay in the top ten, easy. This is like clash of the titans....

Granted, USC has a lot more to lose than OSU, but either way, the losing team will keep their footing near the upper crust.

No...well, I think USC probably would. But OSU will not. They fell back in the polls from #3 to #5 because of that tough game vs. Ohio. So if they lose to USC (and they'll probably be mauled), they'll fall out of the Top 10. Especially since there are so many teams that deserve that #5 spot more than them, AND the voters are retarded...Clemson fell out of the Top 25 from #9 after that loss to an excellent 'Bama team.

OSU barely got by Ohio. That is just sad. They will lose to USC big and they will drop to about 14 or 15.

if the game is close (decided by less than 7 points), the loser will surely stay in the top 10 - even if it's ohio state

If OSU wins, they become 1, If they lose I'm thinking somewhere in top 15

hiya be careful the SEC could be inbreeds yet they have retard potential. The Trojans would be derailed by using The Ohio State college Buckeyes. however OSU won't make it to the BCS call interest. it is going to come right down to a brilliant 12 team and a brilliant East team which will suck.

Yeah, if its close both will stay in the top ten, and no doubt the top 15. especially USC.
