Honda Civic tail light?
Hi, is it ok to drive with the light set to OFF? On the Honda Civic 2008 there are only 3 settings: OFF, Parking and interior lights, headlights on. There is daytime running lights on even if the light setting is set to OFF. What about tail light? Thanks
Unfortunately mine doesn't seem to turn on tail light by itself...

In normal daytime driving, it's okay to set the lights to OFF... you don't need your taillights during the day... however, when it gets a bit dim outside, and you feel like the cars behind can't see you, turn the lights to the parking lights setting or the headlights... (i also have a Honda Civic, when you turn on your headlights, make sure it's not on High Beam... in normal night driving, you don't need high beam, and it's also not recommended to use high beams in normal traffic 'cause it blinds oncoming motorists.) But normally, during the day, you don't need your taillights... but if you feel that other drivers can't see you, turn the lights to parking lights or ON...

Buy any civic tail lights from 1996 to 2000 that is 2door coupe. Do NOT buy anything that is made for sedans or hatch. I've seen so many people made this simple mistake. My girlfriend owns a 1996 civic ex coupe and someone back up and smashed her tail lights and i gave her my tail lights from my 1999 civic si coupe. Works just fine. Only thing different is the 1999 and 2000 model has no yellow lense. 1996 - 1998 has the yellow on the signals but other than that its all the same.
