If I'm sending a postcard from Canada to the US, what kind of stamp should I use?

Should I buy an airmail stamp? How much does one stamp cost in Canadian dollars/cents? (I've never bought Canadian stamps before..)

There is no such thing as an "AirMail Stamp."

The cost to mail a postcard/letter from Canada to the US is 96 cents. Plus tax, the stamp will cost you about $1.

It will take around 5 business days. No matter how much extra postage you put on the postcard, it will still be delivered with all the other 96-cent ones.

Your choice. First class mail is 65 cents (Canadian postage) and air mail is a little more - but most letters to the US go airmail anyway, even if they just have a first class stamp on them.

take a few dollars to the post office and they'll tell you what you need to buy. it should hopefully not cost you more than about 3 or 4 dollars, but take five or six, just in case.
