Does anyone know how to croshay?

Crocheting is really easy. You will need yarn and a crocheting needle (less than $10 at an arts and crafts store). It's better to see what to do. I highly recommend YouTube.com and search for "how to crochet" and you'll find what you're looking for. Good luck and have fun!

It is crochet and you would be better off going to a senior citizen center and having the ladies teach you. Not only will you learn from the best but you will be doing a bit of community work and making the ladies very happy. The chaining off is not easily explained nor or the ways to increase and decrease stitches.

This is something you need to do in order to understand. There are a lot of great books at hobby stores that you can use. Just follow the pictures and practice a lot.

have someone chain off for you. then put the needle through the loop. wrap the yarn around the back side of the needle. hook it and pull it through the loop that is already around your needl [the one you chained off with]. now you will have two loops. then put the yarn around the back of the needle and hook it again. pull it through both loops. then you'll be back to one loop with one stitch behind you. keep repeating the steps.
