    I think there was one about 10 years ago. I just don't remember the name. Check for a big hurricanes at the end of the 90s in Acapulco.

    After little googling... This hurricane was Pauline in 1997. I think it made some trouble on Mexico east coast (Veracruz) but apparently it didn't cross.

    I guess Mexico is a too big country. When an hurricane get to earth it dies before reaching other side.
