How would you pronounce the name Kayle?

Would you pronounce it like Kay-lee or would it be more like Kay-l (rhyme with gail)? Maybe you have another suggestion.

I have my opinion, what is yours?

It is pronounced kayl. This exact spelling is on babynamesworld.com as a boys name meaning slender. It is an alternate version of Cael. I was considering using Kayle as a middle name for my next if it is a boy.

I think if it is to be Kaylee then it needs the other e.

I would pronounce it Kay-l (rhyme with Gail) with the spelling Kayle....

I would pronounce Kaylee just like it's spelled....Kay-lee....My daughters name is Kaylee....

I would pronounce it like Kale...you know the leafy green vegetable. Yes, it would rhyme with Gail. If it was meant to be pronounced as Kay-lee, then it would have two E's.

Gosh - I guess it depends if it's a boy or a girl.

When I first saw the name, I thought it was Kaylee.

When I looked a second time, I thought it *must* be like Kale, as in something I'd expect to find in the produce aisle.

Either way, not a great name - quite confusing!

I would pronounce it like you said, rhyming with Gail. But I could see how people would misread it as Kaylee since that's what they are used to seeing.

To ensure proper pronunciation I guess you would have to spell it Cale.
