she keeps ditching me!!!!?

ok me an my twin sister have always been close and hopefully always will be, however i am abit of a loner and don't demand to be with her all the time but since we went back to college she has just kinda ditched me to hang out with her boyfriend who she has been seeing for like a year. she did it last year but not this much.

like i say i don't mind that but she kinda will make plans with me and if he comes along she will make plans with him and lust ditch me there and then so i don't have any time to arrange to meet up with people.

frankly she always was sly by never actually saying we were hanging out in so many words so her argument was it's not set in stone. however today she actually said lets hang around this afternoon. and there you go i'm sitting in a libary until on me own.

i'm gonna stop being so avaliable for her. but does anyone have any ways i could give her a taste of her own medicine or ways to cope with people doing this. thanx.

Update:

ano we have to seperate some time. but seriously we are twins! it's harder to ignore that bond than people think.

and i'm trying to get my own life. have been for a few moths like a job, with friends away from her, but jobs are hard to come by.

and i'm not getting a boyfirned just to get even they aren't objects.

tanks for the advice though and i don't think i will get back at her i was just angry. i could'nt be nasty to her.

Ok I have literally just told my best mate I don't wanna be friends any more for the same reason. She always puts her boyfriend first!!!

    Try just telling her!

I don't think it is wrong of her to her a boyfriend and that they spend a lot of time together. BUT, it is very wrong for her to make plans with you and then ditch you for any reason.

Try not making plans with her. Don't ask, and if she asks say NO. sooner or later she will get the hint. It is really important that you say no every time for a long time. At some point her boyfriend will be busy and she will be lonely and figure it out. or u could agree to meet her but then make other plans but then u would be doing the same thing. another words don't play her game but wipe her out of her own game.

i think your idea to be less avaliable to her is a good idea, as she will soon realise that when she makes arrangements with you she should keep them otherwise you wont be free for another few days!

Dont try to get her back as this will most likely just end in a huge argument!

Just organise things with your other friends without thinking of your sister and she will see that you are independant and have a life of your own without needing her!

    Good luck huni xx

People do that. Find your own friends and get a life of your own that doesn't include her and she will come to you. Twins are brought up entirely different that children that aren't. That feeliing of togetherness is stronger than a single child.

revenge is for the weak of spirit and mind. Just make a life for yourself.

Get a boyfriend for yourself, hang out with him while she's with hers. You'll have to separate eventually, become more independent.
