My Sony Triniton TV has a distorted video.?
My tv is about 7 yrs old & all of a sudden the screen is distorted. It looks like someone zoomed in on it. Everyone has a cut off head. Can anyone tell me how to fix it? Please tell me it's fixable!
Thanks,

Allow a bit technical explanation:
When the high voltage power supply (inside your TV) becomes old, it may not be able to provide the current used by the picture tube, so its voltage goes down. Then the electrons are not accelerated as much as they should. The deflection unit deflect the electrons farther than normally, this zooms the video.
The effect is called "blooming".
Soon in February 2009 you will need to replace your TV. It may cost you less to buy one rather than trying to fix this one.
