you can freeze butter but make sure its well wrapped. Insert your own knob joke here.

Yes you can freeze it. Leave in it`s original wrapping and then overwrap in foil or a polythene bag as it is easily affected by other strong odours.
RECOMMENDED FREEZER LIFE:
Unsalted 6 months; salted 3 months.
TO USE;
Thaw overnight in the refrigerator.

lol.... as long as u freeze it before the best before date its fine, but once its defrosted u will have to use it within 3 days.
