Please help me with compac recovery?
I have a compac presario with windows xp home. It got a virus and I attempted "compac recovery" only to find out that disc #2 was missing. Now my computer wont boot up. Help me please.

I would suggest contacting Compaq support and seeing if the recovery data was all on the CD's. If it was and you can not find disk #2 and if they can not provide one (purchase one), you are going to need to purchase a Windows XP CD.
Sorry, I wish I had a better option for you, but the first disk formatted the Hard Drive and probably started the install, but did not fully install Windows.
