Trying to Bleed brakes?
I'm trying to bleed brakes on a Chrystler 300M. Air got into the brake lines. I tried bleeding all four tires but the brake line on the passenger side tire did not bleed out. Instead it seeped out brake fluid from the bolt while it was loosened. What could be wrong?

Procedure is what is wrong. First thing is you need two people that work well together. Don't use wife...
Starting at the Lt Front Brake Caliper, have your helper pump until the the peddle becomes firm or slightly off the floor and them have them hold pressure and follow the peddle to the floor while you bleed the fluid by turning the bleeder a 1/4 turn. Have them report when the peddle is to the floor. Then close the bleeder and have them pump until firm and repeat the bleeding for that wheel caliper until the fluid runs clear. Sometimes there are air leaks around the bleeder and the fluid still looks like it has air in it, but the air is coming from around the threads of the bleeder and not from the inside of the system. Now make sure that the Master Cylinder Reservoir is kept full during the whole process. Now repeat the bleeding at the Rt Front and then the Lt Rear and then the Rt Rear caliper.
You should develop a rhythm that sounds like:
Wheel Guy to Inside Guy - "Pump" He pumps until it is up.
Inside Guy to Wheel Guy - "UP"
Wheel Guy bleeds caliper until Inside Guy says "Down"
Wheel Guy closes the bleeder and says "Pump"
Repeat...

It sounds to me like you have blockage in the bleeder screw. I hope
you know how to properly bleed this system. If not, try to get some
help. You can purchase a new bleeder screw from any auto parts store just bring the old one with you, that is if you can't unlclog it with a
paperclip for example. Make sure you bleed the brake system in the proper sequence as well. Working from
the closest wheel to the furthest wheel from the master cylinder.
One last thing. What made you bleed the brakes in the first place, are
you sure it's not the master cylinder. Again, get some help if you are
unsure of the correct procedure.
