What is wrong with my left arm?

My left arm has been hurting for at least a month now, and it's really, really affecting what I do everyday. I'm having trouble right now just typing and letting down my arm. I take pain relievers, but most just work for a few hours and then I have to take it again.

On the first week I went to the hospital and they said they would call back in a couple of days. It's been three days, so my parents called. They said they weren't ready, and we never heard from them again. At the time, a lot of people told me that they haven't called back because it probably isn't that much of a problem. It's been a month, now it's a problem.

Please help.

I would go to a different hospital, and get a second opinion .. or any opinion at that matter.Make sure you tell them you never did recieve an answer. And also tell them its really important and effecting your life.

Call the hospital for the results. While I cannot tell you what is wrong, this is obviously a problem that needs to be looked into. Sometimes hospitals drop the ball and forget to make calls that need to be made and are important. Never assume everything is okay if they do not call - assume they are busy and can overlook things sometimes. If you were injured during an activity such as tennis soccer, etc. you may want to see someone in sports medicine. If you do not recall being injured see a regular doctor to get to the bottom of this situation. You deserve to feel well again. Best Wishes to You.

You sound like you might have tennis elbow which is just a repetative strain...i know because i suffer from it chronically every day and it is beyond that now..get back to the doctor and talk to him about it..if left too long it only gets worse..catching it early is good and you can heal by just relaxing the arm, using ice, and stetching and stengthening execises. good luck with it,,if you have any more questions email me .
