When is AT&T going to upgrade to 3G in Omaha, NE?
I bought the new Iphone and I'm wondering when Omaha will get 3G?

Omaha World Herald said it would be November. I just looked into ordering 25 phones with the business side of AT&T and they said unfortunately they don't know if or when it will ever come to Omaha. He said he looked at what he could in a database that lists what towers are being put up and he said none of the towers we have in Omaha are 3g capable yet. Apparently they install the hardware and do a few months of testing first before actually turning the service on. I would love to get 3g in Omaha. GSM is a better cellular network in general, but just not in Omaha. If you are planning on getting a new cell phone and will use it in Omaha primarily I would recommend selecting another carrier.
