When do you take your dog for a walk..?

When do you take your dog for a walk before or after giving him his breakfast? I mean they don't take a piss and poo whole night but they will first thing in the morning when you take them for a walk but when he eats his breakfast he'll do it again. So when do you take him? before or after?

I take my dog out both times just to go. They do not need a long walk for either but I would think he would be happier walking after eating breakfast if you are wanting a long walk and that is what you are asking.

I have a yard, so I just let my dog out in the yard in the morning and when she finishes her business I close it. I only take my dog for a walk in the afternoon/evening, because the rest of the time she is just let out into the yard.

If you don't have a yard, you should consider a feeding schedule where you fed him dinner then took him for a walk about 30 minutes afterward. That way, he wouldn't feel the need to go very bad (if at all) in the morning, because he got rid of that on the walk the night before. You can then feed him breakfast and wait another half hour to take him for a walk.

I take her after school around 4:00 for a 2mile walk. So, after breakfeast! My dog poops on every walk weather shes been fed yet or not. Sometimes I feel like she just sits there and strains....shes practically shaking. LOL.

    In the afternoon.

At about 1-2:00pm before kids get out of school and after kindy has finished. Then my dog doesn't get annoyed by all these annoying kids.

take him for a actual WALK in the morning before breakfast. as in 30 mins of walking. and then afterwards, let him in the yard to pee and such.

walking is at least 30 mins. anything else is just a potty break.

I take my dogs after they eat in the morning, and after they eat at night. Walking helps aid in digestion..

I don't feed in the morning, but do potty the dogs first thing so they can relieve themselves. They typically wait about twenty minutes and then go outside to defecate. I feed in the evenings and follow the same routine. They go out as soon as I get home from work to urinate, then I feed and about ten to twenty minutes later, they are ready to finish their business. They get a third outing when we walk for exercise at dusk and again before bedtime.

I take him in the morning before breakfast and in the evening before dinner. It helps the little guy build up his appetite.

Generally I let my dogs outside just after they eat their breakfasts.

This is because I have one coprophiliac dog who will refuse his breakfast if let out before he eats.

Let him out to potty first thing, then take him for a walk after he has eaten. That way you have no accidents to clean up later.
