What happened to West Coast rap?

it went back to the west coast..

no one wants to be a gangster anymore..

Hip hop is all about cycles, but as Ras Kass said on institutionalized 2 (highly recommend) - "They called Gangster rap wack and sold it back to us".

When 2pac & Biggie got killed it died down. Every body start talking about money and what they got basically.

Who wants beef between coast? That's so old!

hopefully dre's album will be a wake up call for the west coast.
