it will go in 4 high and light on instrument cluster comes on but when you stop and put it neutral and push 4low button the light on the button blinks for a few seconds then goes out and the 4low light in instrument cluster doesn't light and doesn't go in 4low. any ideas why it wouldn't go in 4x4 low?

I had an Expedition that had a similar problem. It wouldn't stay in 4L after a couple feet. I realized that the problem was circled on the grill.
