can I add a creditor to a chapter 13 bankruptcy 2 years into a 3 year plan?
I am now into a chapter 13 payment plan like 2 years into a 3 year plan. I have a utility bill that is like over $600 and looking to get shut off if payment isn't received by tomorrow. I was told by a friend that you can add a creditor up to discharge on a chapter 13. Does anybody have any ideas about that? I cant seen to get a hold of my lawyer. I tried to get financial assistants but income is just above the cut off for help. and the company refuses to set up a payment plan. any help on this would be great!!! Thanks!

not unless you owed this 600 back when you originally files and then only with the judge's blessing and you will not get it in time to keep your utilities on!!!

Wow, you haven't learned your lesson have you. Maybe if you hadn't remodeled the bathroom and installed a whirlpool tub, you would have the money to pay your bills.
Nevertheless, NO you can change the terms without the judge's ok.
