My downloads of more than 5Mb keep stalling every time Whats wrong?

It happens in both of my computers, and on all websites. It happens either with explorer or Firefox. What can it be?

It also happens with or without an antivirus or firewall

Update 2:

Tha only way I have found through is to download with Firefox and every time it stalls I hit pause and then play and it resumes, but it stops every 20 seconds tops

    Seems like there something is wrong with your Internet connection. It gets timeout on your download.
