Been to Jiffy Lube lately? Have they really completed the Signature service for you?

This summer I noticed that Jiffy Lube had not topped off all my fluids like the Signature service promises. My sister had the same experience. Not to mention that both our trucks has a break light out and their closing briefing to us is, "All your lights work" and we had to correct them! Anyone notice same trend?

Update:

Jeyan J: HOW IRONIC! You brought up an intersting point. You see, my sister's truck had the brake light on. We knew it needed break fluid. We asked them to add some... they said they did.... but they didn't. Everything we asked the to top off, they didn't.

Jiffy Lube SUCKS!!! I stopped going there because i noticed the same thing. I started pulling over right after I left the parking lot to check my fluids....NONE of them were topped off. My ending report said everything was fine, also, and my tires were under-inflated. To top it all off, my CHANGE OIL light was STILL ON. These guys are horrible, don't waste your money there. Wal-mart actually does a better job and costs half as much.

Jiffy Lube only tops off engine oil and windshield washer fluid. They are changing the oil anyway so it is pretty much that 50c windshield washer fluid that they top off. The brake fluid, coolant, transmission fluid, power steering fluid are all extra if you ask for them. They check them just to rip you off.

They used to do coolant top off, but not anymore. Jiffy Lube is part of shell company and as if they are not ripping us out in the pump now they get us in the maintainence too. Go to a local business and support them.

I stopped going to Jiffy Lube years ago (and all quickie lube places) after one of the grease monkeys purposefully left my radiator cap on loosely and it popped off while I was doing 70 on the freeway. I nearly overheated my engine.

I didn't say yes to his "recommended services" which I think is why he left it loose. I wrote a long letter to Jiffy Lube explaining my bad experience. Now I only change the oil myself. Between waiting and driving to the oil change place, it's faster if I do it myself anyways.

Um did you expect much more from a bunch of junior grease monkeys that have no training except for how to change oil and light bulbs and making 12 bucks an hour? Don't get me wrong I use them in a pinch, but for the most part, I will change it myself or take it to a reputable mechanic and know it's being done right and I am getting what I am paying for.
