What are BitComet and BitTorrent?

What are they? And what is the difference between them?

    Bitcomet is a program for downloading torrents from various sites like mininova and the pirate bay

    BitTorrent is a network.

    BitComet is the client to access that network

    so to simplify it

    BitTorrent = Internet

    BitComet = Internet Explorer / Firefox

    You need BitComet to access the network, just like you need FireFox / IE to access the web.

    BitTorrent is a Torrent downloading application so you can download movies, music, games etc from certain sites.

    BitComet I think is an advertising company - cursors and the like.
