What symbolize a broken heart beside a broken heart itself?

John broke my heart and I'm still working on the mending part of that...it got really bad for a while, but just about two weeks ago, I started to feel better. The one thing I would tell him is that I'm not like the others in his past who have hurt/left him and that I was loyal and very willing to work with him on bettering both of our lives...it was his choice to go and I never tried to stop him, so I can only hope that someday he realizes what he gave up and if it's not too late by then, I would love for him to come back.

Have an actual heart - not a cute little cookie-cutter one, but like the actual heart in our body. Make it look kinda black and blue, like "injured".
