What do you think an appropriate age woulod be for wearing makeup?

13 or 14. But if they're 12, they should only be wearing concealer(if they have acne), maybe eyeshadow, and lipgloss.

If it's just for Halloween, as young as 8 should be fine, but maybe only mascara, some light lipstick/lip gloss, and some blush, and costume appropriate.

But older ages, like 12 and 13 would be good occasionally, like for school dances or a special event.

Most parents are letting their 12 year olds walk out of the house looking like they're 20 with all that make up on and the predators are hurting themselves to get to them. D:

Personally, my mom would only let me wear a couple swipes of mascara and light colored lip gloss (when I was 13), and at 16, I could wear lip stick and eye liner and eye shadow and 4 years later (at 20), I still rarely wear anything but mascara and some eyeliner and sometimes eye shadow.

Well I am 13 and I wear concealer eyeliner eyeshadow and macara. I am aloud to wear lipgloss but I dont really like to. My mom let me start when I turned thirteen but I only wore mascara up until a few months ago. But I know that kids at my school whoes parents don't let them wear makeup bring it to school and put it on in the bathroom there so I would say that if you are trying to decide what age to let your daughter wear makeup just let her wear some lipgloss if she asks then she can't complain that you won't let her wear makeup and she can feel grown up in her lipgloss.
