Am I wasting my time with Zazzle.com?
I recently opened a site on zazzle.com. I have several designs posted but a low number of daily views and no sales. Am I wasting my time with Zazzle? Has anyone had any success selling their products using Zazzle? What can I do to drive more traffic to my site? Suggestions.

You are not wasting your time with Zazzle.com IF you keep the following in mind:
You need to advertise! You are one of many sites on zazzle. You need to do some other things to stand out.
Advertise locally (business cards, fliers, art shows, word of mouth, get some of your stuff in offices with your card attached...), have some stock on hand and get a booth at community events to sell your items. Donate a picture to a non-profit and ask that they make your business cards available. Go to locally owned spas, restaurants, nail salons, etc and ask to put your stuff up in there on consignment. Put car magnets on your car, create a press release announcing "Local Artist Open for Business" (of course, get more creative than this!).
AND advertise online! You can do this by creating a blog on blogger.com or wordpress.com and feature your work and tell the stories behind what you create. Perhaps offer a free download, and have a "tell a friend" button on there. Go to general message boards and post answers on there with your site in the siggie area. Write articles that pertain to your work and post them on ezinearticles.com and goarticles.com. (Make sure you post to your blog daily.)
Don't give up on your zazzle. I presume you are doing what you love to do - never give up on that! Plus, if I am remembering correctly, zazzle offers the merchant account for you. This is a great perk that you don't have to worry about that - not to mention the fact that you don't need a company that will mass produce your items and charge an arm and a leg for them!
Good luck, and no, you are not wasting your time with zazzle. Just add to your repertoire!
