JESUS was the greatest PSYCHOLOGIST ever ! He knew the techniques to control people's mind 2000 years ago.?

Update:

Comment on this statement.

Update 2:

Yes, priyank....I mean ever. The world certainly existed before 2000 years and there was nobody as strong as Jesus who could psychologically influence people so much

Update 3:

Yes Sassy, You have truely made the thing easier for me and I accept the first part of your answer :PSYCHOLOGY. You have defined it as the study of mind and behaviour ........And yes thats what I intend to say Jesus was a master at studying peoples mind and behaviour , hence he could drive home his doctrines knowing pretty well what stuff would go down well with the people.

Update 4:

Sassy, I have no problem too in accepting Jesus as a great teacher. For a great teacher only knows the mind and behaviour pattern of his audiance and hence delivers the goods in the right manner .

Update 5:

And just because some body is a great teacher and claimed he is God, so he should be God ? Then many great teachers have also preached their versions of religious doctrines and why should we not recognise them as God ?

Update 6:

Ok, Kate psychologists dont control peoples mind but they are master at analysing peoples mind, thought and behaviour pattern and can therefore motivate and lead people in a manner they want. Just like any leader would do to lead his followers.

    PSYCHOLOGY:

The study of mind and behavior in relation to a particular field of knowledge or activity.

    TEACHER:

One that teaches; especially one whose activity is to instruct.

Your STATEMENT (not question) is very bold and misleading. Obviously, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, however, when you are referring to Jesus, 'control' is the last word that comes to mind who believe in Him. Out of the two definitions I listed above, Jesus fits the definition of "teacher". He had no animosity in Him, especially to want to 'control' people's minds. People "followed" Him when He spoke, as his words were believable and full of love and compassion - compared to the leaders and priests of the times. Those leaders/priests who were "in charge" of the people's "religious morality", were psychological using 'mind control' by preaching Scripture to their advantage, twisting it's meanings and controlling the people with force and fear.

Jesus did no such thing. He spoke from the authority of His Father, as Jesus WAS God reincarnate. Jesus often referred to Scripture when He spoke, and gave people the true meanings of its teachings. He also spoke in parables, keeping the real meaning of some lessons enshrouded. Jesus told his disciples the real meanings of the parables, so they would later go into the world and teach them to everyone. It was part of God's plan from the beginning.

In summary, as a believer of Jesus, who was the most insightful man who ever lived on earth and is still alive, I find your statement blatant and uninformed.

Jesus, messenger of God (peace be upon him) spoke nothing but the truth. It was his truth that attracted sincere people to listen and follow him.

Psychologists do not control people's minds.
