How do I get the smell of crayon out of my car?

I have a 2001 VW Beetle and for some reason it smells like CRAYON. EVERYONE notices the smell, it's not totally unpleasant but it reeks like crayolas. I have tried baking soda, I have tried having it cleaned, I have tried air fresheners, but can't seem to get the crayon smell to go away. I bought it used, and it smelled like crayons when I bought it, but that was almost a year ago!
