How about them Lions?
Is this finally rock bottom. They have been destroyed by an average at best Falcons team, a good Packer team and here we go again....another average at best team. A rookie QB, a guy under immense pressure (Rodgers) and now a career older backup shredding the so called improved Lions defense. And how about that offensive line? But they play to a full stadium so there is no motivation to get better. The Fords just dont care and Millen still has no clue. Opinions?

I've believed for years that the Lions are an investment and not a passion to the owners, GM, and staff.
The Lions are perennial bottom dwellers. Think about what they did to Barry Sanders? He had no choice but to retire in order to not die a horrible death on the field, because of a lack of commitment to the team.
Kitna had a good year as a backup with Cincy prior to coming over, and with his usual mouthy predictions all he did was overhype a team that has a bunch of athletes. Decent offense, but those guys don't defend so what will happen?
I think the Lions are the loveable losers in the NFL. Most teams have a curve where they are really good, but it's like Millen doesn't understand how to draft. Just don't have the pieces is all!

And to believe that when I asked "Who will win the NFC North?" a few weeks back, the majority of the answers actually picked the Lions.

geeez. how can ford not see what he's doing to this team.
The only thing to make Ford fix this team, is if the NFL takes away the Thanksgiving game. That is the only way to fix this team.
