How will the dragons go on next year in nrl ? 2009?

well being a dragons fan im gonna say theyll carve up.

but i really do think they will do better with there new players and coach, sure were losing some talent but were making up for it in new recruitments, + wayne bennet will be a huge boost to the side.

dragons will also have a good strong foward pack next year which will help the backs play better and get more ball then they did this year, i think they are real contenders next year!

To be honest I think they will struggle for the first half of they year adpating from Brown's coaching to Bennett but they will come back in the 2nd half. As for the team I think it will be:

Your right they will have an Excellent Squad for next season. I am tipping the Dragons as early favourites for next season. And you might never know they will be in the Grand Final for 2009.

They certainly have a platform to build on . It will take them a while to gel as a team but I think they will be clicking into gear come second half of next season. Wayne Bennett will change the way the Dragons play so it will be interesting to see what he can do for them first year.

Yeah Barrett's been fairly unlucky. he's been knocked out quite some circumstances this 12 months yet he constantly tries to conflict on. i think of he's right down to 4 concepts cells now the detrimental bloke. the full hen team has been fairly luckless: Nate Myles incident, Fitler incident besides as being the main compelled participant interior the comp, Minichello has been out fairly lots all 12 months, favourites for the wood spoon. they could't capture a ruin...yet in spite of this you're making your man or woman success interior the NRL.

i am sure they will be a lot more consistent and I predict they will come maybe about 5th but won't go all the way. The future is bright though, a coach such as Bennett will attract a lot of good players and his record speaks for itself.

Might take a bit of time to get use to a new playing style, but I think a lot of the players, (Soward, Rogers... maybe) will greatly improve under Wayne Bennet.

Give it 2 or 3 seasons and you will be in a GF I reckon!

I would have liked their chances better if they had got hold of Barrett but that was never going to happen after the Brown incident.
