If you google: caculos biliares... you can look at a site & click translate.

As well as I can understand it, they are gallstones or biliary sludge which is related. Gallstones are made up of cholesterol or bile salts that crystallize & form stones if large enough or sludge if it is more sandlike.

The gallbladder stores bile until it is needed in digestion & then moves thru the bile duct into the stomach, except if enough sludge or gallstones move into the bile duct & cause an obstruction which is very painful & can cause pancreatitis another painful illness.

At this point a very delicate procedure called an ERCP is done & complications of it are when it touches the pancreas & causes an inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis).

The person would need surgery to remove their gallbladder & have the stones & sludge removed.

The treatment for pancreatitis is to replace the digestive enzymes needed & to control pain.

    Google: mayo clinic>>diseases>>gallstones

    >>pancreatitis

You would need to clarify if they have pancreatitis & which enzymes she needs. They are either given by prescription or can be bought in a health food stores. Don't they have socialized medicine in Cuba...it was in the Michael Moore movie "Sicko". They might need money for operation.

    Good luck to your friend.

The gallbladder is an internal organ just under your liver. It looks like a small "bag." It stores digestive juices that are made by the liver. Sometimes these juices become solid and form stones, called gallstones.

    What problems can gallstones cause?

About 60% of people with gallstones never get sick from them. They might never know they have gallstones. However, a gallstone can leave your gallbladder and go into the passageway from your gallbladder to your intestine. It can get stuck in that passageway. If the stone completely blocks the passageway, you will have severe pain in the right upper part of your belly. You may also feel pain in your upper back. The pain usually starts suddenly and lasts for as long as 3 hours. This is known as an "attack."

Complete or partial blockage can also cause your gallbladder to get irritated and inflamed. If this happens, you will usually have pain for more than 3 hours. You may also get a fever. Your skin may turn a yellowish color, known as jaundice (say "john-diss").

Let me see, "a mi me gusta más ésta" in english method "I like this a different" (sorry for my english( and this word "however i really like this" in spanish method "pero me gusta ésta" (or "éste" if the phrase or the character is male). I consider the change among the terms is this one "a mi me gusta mas esta" has the phrase "mas" and the only in english does not have that phrase it simply says "me gusta esta" and also you obtained the "pero", phrase you do not see within the spanish word, so i consider that spanish word isn't completely = than the english word so it will have to be: a mi me gusta mas esta! ? however I like this. I wish you realize my english and what i attempted to mention
