Can I remove IE from my computer ?
Okay I have tried all types of ad remover/spammer remover
they did not work many even told me I had no issues found..though my explorer kept being hijacked by different websites when I tried to search.I finally installed PC cillin after so many other and it does find ad_ware admedia but even though it deletes and quarantines it every time I open IE and scan the same thing happens again.
I started using opera since it does not effect it with my browser
since ie(internet explorer is not helpful on my computer(ie6) can I get rid of it ? I tried ie 7 and it really had slowed down my computer by the way if anyone suggests that

Hi
IE can't be removed fully, I suggest you read here on how to disable it:
http://www.techsupportalert.com/how_to_disable_int...
I suggest you scan your computer with Superantispyware free and Malwarebytes Antimalware free to check your computer is clean.
And use Firefox with Adblock Plus (free addon) for browsing.

First of all you scan your pc with QuickHeal antivirus, it really works against adware, spamware etc. because it could be possible that when you use opera, those viruses are still hacking your personal information, but if you only wants to remove IE from your system its very easy, follow these steps:
start->control panel->add remove programes->Add remove windows components->then uncheck IE->click next. this will remove IE from your system.
I usually fromat my system once in a six months, it cleans your pc completely...and I always keep my antivirus uptodate, if you want to know how to crack Demo versions of antiviruses and make it work like a licenced copy just mail me...

You cannot remove IE without causing a host of problems in your computer. Run the free SpyBot S&D and a full virus scanner and scan your whole computer. There is no chance any malware will remain behind that will hijack you.

Yea just leave it like it is and use opera ie7 is actually a lot better ie6 is extremely old but just don't use it. Ie is kind of part of windows so I wouldn't mess around with it.

I suggest not using IE, & it is not removable, but you can delete the shortcut & forget about seeing it again.
I recommend using Firefox it's great.
