Tucson, AZ nightlife......?

I'm leaving for Tucson tomorrow morning and will be there until Saturday, I'm wondering where the best nightlife spots are. Its a big college town so I'm sure there have to be some good places to go at night!

Also if anyone can suggest the best restaurants in town as well, looking for some good Mexican food!

Thanks!

I lived in tucson my whole life excepting the past year. the college kids obviously hang out by the campus down town. i think its 4th street is where they like to hang out and walk "the strip." but mostly on friday and saturday nights they drive down speedway and show off their cool cars, bikes, ect; the BEST mexican restaurant is off of speedway and kolb. on the north west side. i forget what it's called but it's bomb diggity. lol. there is a ton of mexican restaurants down in tucson because its right by the border! ha! anyways, if you're up for an odd twist. there is this place off of speed way and it's a mix of asain food and mexican food, because one of the owners are mexican and the other is asain....and honestly it's an awesome place. its called saga sushi, the address is 2955 E Speedway Blvd, Tucson, AZ and phone number is (520) 320-0535‎. its a small place. but great! another great just asain place is Takamatsu Restaurant‎ 5532 E Speedway Blvd, Tucson, AZ - (520) 512-0800‎. they cook right in front of you, and have warm, flavored, sake' if you're 21, and the BEST fried rice around. that place is a little more expensive though. but like i said..those are some pretty good places to try out. anyways, defiantly get back at me and let me know how i did.

There's about 3 blocks of bars on 4th Ave. And The Buffet around the corner. Mexican food- Hacienda Del Mar, on Old Nogales Highway, down south (almost Mexico..habla Espanol solamente aqui.)
