What is the value of hair?

I donate my hair every couple of years so that it can be turned into wigs for cancer patients, etc. Mine grows extremely fast and I usually am able to donate at least 10 inches worth. I just did it again yesterday... While I never intend to make a profit doing this I still wonder what is the monetary value of my hair?.

I have very healthy, straight gold blond hair...

    well i wouldnt compare hair wit money caz it cant be. ask ppl who donr have hair
