In what order do the HDMI cables go?
Lets say I have a Blu-Ray player, an audio receiver, and a TV that all support HDMI. Is it better to connect the Blu-Ray player to the input on the receiver, and connect the output on the receiver to the input on the TV; or is it better to connect the Blu-Ray player to the input on the TV, and connect the output on the TV to the input on the receiver?
In other words, what's better:
Blu-Ray - receiver - TV or
Blu-Ray - TV - receiver

Blu to reciever then TV. A little note. If you have analog inputs on your reciever and your Blu ray player has analog outputs and decodes the new formats. You dont need the new audio format on your reciever. I run everything through my reciever.

I don't think I've ever seen a tv with HDMI outputs on it.
The receiver is meant to handle all your audio and video needs, so all of your sources should go to your receiver first, then one to your TV. Use your receiver to switch through your sources (Blu-ray player, Cable box, Gaming system)

Blu-ray - receiver - TV that all connected by HDMI will be better only if you have an HDMI switching receiver. It means this receiver supports audio via HDMI, also you'll get HD sound such as DTS-HD MA or Dolby True HD from Blu-ray movies.
