paying through paypal with credit card?

It is very simple. After you win the auction and you need to pay, just select PayPal as your payment type. The amount will be automatically charged to the credit card you put on file with PayPal.

If you have money in your PayPal account, then when you click on the pay button, you will have to look closely at the screen and select "payment method" and change to "Pay from credit card". Otherwise, PayPal will use whatever funds you have in your PayPal account first, then charge the balance to your credit card.

Other than that, you don't have to do anything special when you pay. It does NOT take extra days to clear the transaction. The payment is immediate.

Be REALLY careful about adding a credit card account number when you think you already had. Lots of scams regarding PayPal. Not PayPal in particular but emails pretending to be PayPal, asking for your updated information, namely you credit card info.

If you mean your credit card is not yet verified, you need to wait for a code that Paypal sent to your credit card company when you added your card. It can take a few days to go through.

You will find the code on your credit card statement beside the word "Paypal".

If you have online access to your credit card account, you can get the code much faster; but if not, you need to wait for your credit card statement to be sent out.

You then go into your Paypal account and click "Confirm my debit or credit card" in the "to do" list on the front page.

You can still pay through paypal. It will only take few extra days to clear the transaction.

I wouldn't. Open a second bank account with just enough money to cover your purchases instead. Paypal is notorious for double billing among other problems.

It should appear with your credit cards next statement as a refund. Had this same problem.

I think you have to apply for a pay pal credit card. once you get it then you can use it all you want.

you will have to wait until they verify your account.... you need to check your account for the two small deposits that they made into your account and go to their website and type them in!
