Obd1 or Obd2 on a 94 civic cx hatch when swapping?

i think my civic is obd1 because i see one in the exhaust manifold

i heard there's another one in the catalytic converter but that be obd2 but then i dont see one on mine so im pretty sure its obd1, if not correct me?

also i plan on swapping a b18c1(gsr) motor so should i get one with a obd1 or obd2? and is it hard to convert? also whats the difference?

    Your car has Obd1. Obd2 did not come into play untill 1996

    your civic is obd1 if it is a 94. obd2 was were placed in cars 96 and up obd1 is better it has less emissions on it. as for getting a obd1 or obd2 gsr the sell jumper harnesses for those swaps but the easiest route would be obd1. good luck

    It is not very difficult to convert it just costs about 250 for the harness. Stick with a 94-96 GSR obd1 engine and you will be fine. Your car is obd1. The difference is in the wiring harness, they are different.

    obd2 went into bring about previous due ninety 5, early 1996. the main important distinction is the logic that the obd2 has, it could seem at indicators to be certain the form that yet another lacking sign must be at. there are components that this does not artwork although.
