Teralyn vs. Taralyn for a Baby Name....?

funny.. my name is Tara Lynn.

Just by looking at bothe spellings I would think it is pronounced Tara Lynn . I would definitely say Teralyn is your best bet but you may have to correct a lot of people!

Tara's not bad, but Teralyn/Taralyn is just terrible.

If you don't want it pronounced "TARA LYN," then don't spell it like that. Spell it Teraline...which is actually much worse than the pronounciation Tara-lynn.

Taralyn I think it fits an adult, and if she doesn't like it she can always just refer to herself as Tara when she gets older

I don't think either Teralyn or Taralyn are professional and/or sexy. I think they both look childish and made up. Sorry.

I think if you want it pronounced Tear, you've got to spell it Tiralyn or Tieralyn.

I like Tara a lot, but not so much adding the lyn to it.
