NO! Gelatine (jello) is made from the rendered (boiled) bones, skin, ligaments and tendons of cows and pigs slaughtered for meat. Horses play no part in it, but its still nasty stuff! See the other question about jello for more detailed info, or just google "what is gelatin". If it grosses you out, start reading ingredient labels on food, cosmetics, vitamins, medications, etc-you will be surprised how many places gelatin is lurking. Its in marshmallows, gummy bears, candies, gums, ice cream, yogurt, and loads of other things.

Jello is usually made from poultry. Have you ever noticed after Thanksgiving dinner, and later you go to make a sandwich and there is this layer of wiggly goo around the bird? this is what jello is made from. It comes from the cartilage around the joints. It is very healthy for you, especially if you have weak joints. If you are a vegetarian, or vegan don't eat jello! So no horse hooves are not used for jello, glue....yes

Yes. Actually the truth is worse. Or at least it sounds worse. The source of the protein in Jell-O is "hide trimmings," animal tissue that is rendered, purified, filtered, and then purified again, leaving a protein called collagen.
This is from Snopes:
The production of gelatin starts with the boiling of bones, skins and hides of cows and pigs, a process that releases the protein-rich collagen from animal tissues. The collagen is boiled and filtered numerous times, dried, and ground to a powder. Because the collagen is processed extensively, the final product is not categorized as a meat or animal product by the federal government. Very strict vegetarians avoid gelatin entirely
All I have to say is YUK! I have not eaten Jello in years...

No...Jello is made of Glucose, Fructose (some), and sometimes Sucrose. This explains for the sweetness of Jello and how it "sticks" together when put in a low temperature environment.
