In Chinese, it's common for multiple words share the same pronunciation. Similar thing happens also in English, like "hour" and "our", or "two" and "too", but not that common.
"Shenzhou" has multiple corresponding Chinese words. The most used one until a few years ago is 神州, the Divined Continent or the Holy Land, whatever, that is used to refer China itself.
"Shenzhou" is also the pronunciation of 神舟, the Holy Ship or the Divined Ship. This is the name of the series of Chinese spaceship launched and to be launched since a few years ago. In the context of what you mentioned, it's this meaning.

I just asked my Chinese friend in my office in Shanghai and she that is a very graceful name for China, Divine Land
there was some argument that it could also mean, God's ship
