Need help brushing my puppy's teeth!!!!?

Question

I have a 6 month old Shih Tzu. My vet had told me and gave me an information sheet on dental disease in dogs, and told me i should brush my dogs teeth starting out as a puppy, and to try doing this every day! 
    Well, i just recently started this a few days ago and she will not have it! At first i put a little bit of the doggie toothpaste on the brush and let her kinda play with it n chew on it to get used to it in her mouth. Once i tried to get it on her teeth to brush there was NO WAY she was going to let me keep doing it! she will wiggle, squirm, do any thing to pull away!
    I know dental health is important expecially for shih tzu's! i would like to brush her teeth at least every other day!! So PLEASE help if you have any tips or ideas to make her calm down a little so i can get all of her teeth brushed, it will be greatly appreciated!! :)

Get her dentabones, rawhides, bones, etc to chew on and you won't need to brush her teeth.  I had four dogs, and only once or twice did we ever attempt brushing teeth.  That was with our first dog, but we never had a problem with dental diseases.

Check out  www.nutra-9.com, they carry a product called petzlife that works wonders. They are also very reasonable priced! I used them for this same product and my chows teeth are much better, a big difference.
