Well, what the person above said, and also: You can easily read data. Rather than trying to figure out an answer algebraically, you can look at the graph. For example.. if I ate 2.5 cakes in a minute.. how many would I have eaten in 2 hours. Instead of algebraically manipulating an equation, you can simply look at the graph and find your answer.
