Need help with Microsoft Excel...... I have 4 salespersons that sell?

A1 B1 C1 D1 E1

Salesperson lemonade cookes Ice Total

Jonie 2 2 1 4

harvey 1 3 1 5

Jonie 1 0 1 2

Chuck 1 1 1 3

I need an IF/Then statement on the next sheet that says if column"A" = Jonie then add up all the totals on column "E" and total.

Can someone please help me or guide me to where I can find it.

    Try the SumIf function. For jonie it would be

    =SUMIF(A1:A4,"=jonie",E1:E4)

    If this data is on Sheet1 and you want to put the formula somewhere on sheet2:

    =SUMIF(Sheet1!A1:A4,"=jonie", Sheet1!E1:E4)

    Change your range references and name to suit your needs.

    Go on 'E' and press the button at the top i call a 'squiggly E' That should work if you just press enter after wards. Do this for all the rows if you need to.
