For those of you that have had hard contacts; how long did it take you to get used to them?

I have hard contact lenses which I got about a month ago and I only wear them at night because I'm undergoing a process called orthokeratology. So far I've already found that I'm becoming more used to them. I used to wear soft contact lenses and I can tell you that hard ones are heaps harder to wear initially, but over time I can already tell that I will get used to them.

Being able to see everyday is a good enough reason for me to put up with the minor irritation for now =)

I had hard contacts when I was in college, about 30 years ago. you build up to wearing them gradually, about a half hour at a time at first. I think it took 2 or 3 weeks til I could wear them full time. even then, it was just a few hours during the day. I hope they help your condition.
