I marched with Muslims today to protest the Israeli occupation and to boycott Israel what does that tell you?

American Muslims marched today to encourage a boycott against Israel for the occupation of Palestine. I am not a Muslim so what does that mean to you?

You oppose the illegitimate zionist regime enough to break cultural barriers and defy popular opinion in your support of a just cause.

That, my friend, takes what us Americans used to call "balls."

I have nothing against the Israeli people, they are awesome, caring, intelligent and informed people (in my personal experience)... but f*** the Isreali government. It has no right on earth to be there.

That land belongs to the Palestinians. The globalist Israeli gov't has abused and murdered Palestinians for long enough.

I say forget the "two state solution," kick Israel the hell out. Let the Israeli people live in a peaceful Palestine, if they want, but also make it very easy for them to move if they wish. The people have done nothing wrong. It was Western powers that screwed up here.

    Take care.

Israel has been getting away with murder for years- the reason we have so much trouble in the region. Because of 9-11 however this position has become almost indefensible. The likelihood of this situation being righted is as great as terrorism stopping entirely tomorrow. Without this there will simply never be an answer to the problems. Although boycotting Israel at times would certainly help in modifying their behavior such that terrorism against the US might be mitigated.

Not being a Muslim doesn't preclude you from having an opinion on the establishment of Israel. It certainly is a thorny issue, I myself got in an argument with an Israeli Jew over the establishment of Israel at a party recently. I still respect Israel's sovereignty, and I have nothing against Jews or Israelis, but I do have a problem with the decision to establish Israel (specifically, the location they chose) and some Israeli and American politicians.

Neutrality and Judicial attitude are very honorable traits. It may have taken longer for some in the West to realize that, and it may be late, but at least not too late for divine judgment (for those who realized it in time).

Personally I don't have anything against the Jews. And I do not give such statement out of hopelessness or loss of will. It is just because when I read my book (Quran) in isolation (to the man made fabrications i.e. Hadith), that I feel so. In fact the land of Israel has been given by God to the Jews. Ref. Quran 17:104.

However the Quran also tells me that the Jewish people will be punished very heavily through divine judgment, TWICE. And the sole reason for this punishment would be heights of arrogance and oppression.

Many Jews insist that they TWO times have passed. It may be true and may not be true. They actually relate the destruction to their temple. But my good guess goes against that. The Temple's destruction has got nothing to do with God's judgment. God's system NEVER changes. You commit sin and oppression, you get the punishment. Ref. Quran 17:4 to 10. and some other verses.

Had they resorted to neutrality and feared God, they would have been showered with mercy from Him. And they would have all the peace and security they need or cannot even think off.

The CONTINUOUS display of oppression is a manifest rebellion to God's commands and justice. Thus it is ONLY a matter of time when God's judgment will be issued.

Warnings and reminders of God's judgment are heeded ONLY by the true believers and God fearing people, NOT by the Arrogant.

So you may choose to continue to protest OR you may even choose not to. But as long as you realize that it is injustice and oppression, God will surely reward you and will have mercy on you. Thus in actual it will be a favor to ur own soul.

It means that the liberation of Palestine from foreign dominion is not a religious issue; it's a human-rights issue, namely the right of all people to political self-determination.

That you have guts to go against popular opinion and that you are humane and just. Courage, humanity and a love of justice - you may add me as a friend or contact if you wish. For that matter I wish we'd had one where I am; I would have loved to march for Palestine.

  • you are a person who does what he believes in... and also that you see the truth about things and dont just believe in what you hear on the media and so on.... good for you:D

It means you are an independent-minded person who does not let the U.S. corporate media do his thinking for him; it means you are a decent person with humanitarian values, and it means you are courageous to take what is currently in Fortress Amerika a very unpopular position.
