Do you have anything you can sell? Ebay, garage sale?
Are you sure you can't find 2nd jobs, or just none you are willing to do? You may have to lower your standards. Also, you just may not be able to pull this off.
$2000 is a good amount of money, can't you use that for a deposit on an ordinary apartment?

I would be very, very skeptical of the previous suggestion. It smells very fishy to me. They'll probably ask for any money up front. I'd stay away.

Coming up with $2000 in 2 weeks is going to be pretty difficult. If you don't have the money for the housing pre-qualification amount, how will you afford the monthly payments? Don't forget that you'll have utilities, grocery, etc. bills once you move in together and if you are five months pregnant, you'll probably be taking some kind of maternity leave with limited/no income coming in for a few months. Are there any other housing options that would not require you to come up with such a large amount? Have you looked into renting in someone's basement, guest house, two family house or is there another relative that you can live with while you two save some more money? Good Luck!
