I think my paternal grandparents were Jewish.......?
Is there any way I can research, on line, if this might be true? My grandparents migrated to the U.S from Europe in the late 1800s or early 1900s. I live in the Philippines and don't have the library research resources to help me with this? Does anyone face a similar problem with researching their heritage?

Most likely if they emigrated to the United States at that time, they came through New York. If you have an idea when, you can write to the Department of Emigration and ask if they have names of your grandparents registered.
Have you ever put your grandparents last name on Google and maybe someone else (cousins etc.) have already done the research if you know the names of your grandparents.
