Irregular periods????????????
I am 13 yrs old and I haven't gotten my period yet this month. This will be my 3rd month getting my period. I got it at the end of the month the last two months. I heard that your first two years of getting your period it can be late and irregular. Is that true?

It is normal for you periods to be irregular especially if this will only be your third month of getting one. When I first started having my periods I remember that I skipped two months, went to the doctor, and was told that is was normal. You'll be fine, sweetie. If it worries you then make an appointment with your doctor to reassure you. :-)

It's very true. The body has to get used to the new 'lifestyle' it is experiencing now. If you are not sexually active then you do not have to worry about your period being late or even missing one. Periods are often irregular at first. My daughter's friend only had 3 periods in her first year in total! She is now regular as clockwork 3 years on It's good to keep a record of when you have your periods so that you get used to how you feel just beforehand - it can help you to know when you are going to start. All in all, don't worry my love, it's perfectly normal.

Yes it is true that it can be irregular. If you've gotten a check up for school, and you are overall in good health, there i nothing to worry about. you may actually feel cramps, but nothing else. yeah its weird, but its ok. just always have some extra stuff in your bag because you never really know :o
