Depression, fatigue, anxiety, irritability, sleepiness, and sometimes agitation or paranoia and manic episodes can signal cocaine use. People addicted to drugs in general lose interest in their job, hobbies, and relationships and all they think about is drugs. They may lie, steal, or cheat to get drugs or money to buy drugs. If someone suddenly loses a lot of weight or loses all interest in eating, they may be abusing cocaine.

They will do anything to get the high. Lie, cheat and steal from family and friends and generally spiral themselves into an early death (usually from infections since their immune system is compromised from not eating and sleeping) or they realize they have to change. Physically they are usually thin or downright skinny, face is drawn, eyes bloodshot and bad teeth. If they have not have the drug for 1 - 3 days a psychological withdrawal can occur where they are very agitated, angry and irrational. And if they don't want to change, there is nothing you can do but put time and distance between you and the them.
