Is it possible that Carlos Delgado could go to the Yankees in "09"?

I think Mets are giving up on Carlos because they didn't make it to the playoffs let alone the World Series. But will the Yanks want him next? I am a Yankee fan and would love to see him come to NY. I think without Giambi, Carlos will fit right in. What does everyone else think?

No way the Yankees would sign Delgado. He is no better than Giambi.

  • He had a great year there is no way the mets will let him go,plus the mets have a 10 mil option on him, the yankees are in the texiera sweepstakes but they will def be in the running for sabathia as their most important possible signing, they have no ace. No wang is not an ace neither is pettite or mussina

that wouldnt happen, cuz they probably want more pitching rather than an aging fielder(im not saying hes bad, but hes up there in years). they need to prioritize and get another proven starting pitcher first before they go for bats.

I don't think so, but the Mets do have a buyout option on him. Its possible they will exercise it to make payroll room to bring in more pitching, although I don't think so.
