There gave been fifteen different seasons in which players have hade 100 or more XBH... NYY slugger Babe Ruth had 119 in 1921 -- surprisingly, it was the only season in which The Sultan of Swat accomplished the feat... Lou Gehrig had 117 in 1927 (he also had 100 in 1930)... Chuck Klein (1930 and 1932) and Todd Helton (2000 and 2001) also did it twice apiece... others who reached the 100+ mark are: Albert Belle, Barry Bonds, Jimmy Foxx, Luis Gonzalez, Hank Greenberg, Rogers Hornsby, Stan Musial and Sammy Sosa

Yeah, the first (and only) example that came into my head was Barry Bonds in 2001, when he set the home run record. 73 home runs, 32 doubles and 2 triples. Thats 107 extra base hits.

yes, rogers hornsby, chuck klein did it twice, lou gehrig twice, babe ruth, jimmie foxx, hank greenberg, stan musial, albert belle, todd helton, and barry bonds.
