Has anyone ever worked for AXA Advisors or known anyone who has?
I just graduated college and I am looking for a job as a financial advisor. Axa Advisors contacted me and I went in for the first interview. They offered first the pre contract where I acquire my series 7, 66, and Life and Health within 5 months. I then receive a contract full time with a base of 36K with 50% commission.
I keep hearing mixed comments about them on the internet.
I am right out of college and need to find a job asap. I am worried with the current economy that unemployment rates will keep going up and it will be even harder to find a job in a few months.
I am interviewing at he Broadway office in New York City

im glad you're asking this question because i just scheduled an interview with them for next week and i am also right out of college. On the internet i have read somewhat about this company and i'm not sure whether or not I should go now because it seems like it is one of those sales jobs where you have to bother your own family and friends to be your clients. I don't think it is really serious for someone out of college even though the economy is bad right now. I think we are overqualified for some sales job that anyone can get in highschool but I hope im wrong about them. good luck let me know what happens

I have worked for AXA Advisors for 7 years. Believe me, the people at every branch I have encountered are very high quality, and highly educated. It is not for everyone and it is hard work, but you should look into it nonetheless.
