Does anyone know how long goats live?
we have two six month old oberhaslis, they are just pets and kept in excellent conditions. How long do they live?

10 years is pretty good. under 8 i would be suspicious, but 15 i would say is max.
I have friends that have had goats and they have had them live up to 16. but by then. they are about done. can't get around well. etc.
But i would say if you keep them up to date on shots, and deworming, and cocci prevention. they should live a good 10 years at least!!
